Michele Ferri, Esq.

Michele Ferri has spent years advising on everything from corporate formation to intellectual property licensing, employment law to hiring best practices, Fair Credit Reporting Act compliance, and more. From Dynamex independent contractor issues to California Consumer Privacy Act Policies, he has acted as outside inside counsel for successful startups and entrepreneurs. Michele is also highly involved in producing continuing legal education materials for other attorneys.  He is an Incoming Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association Intellectual Property Section and Vice-Chair of the Technology, Internet and Privacy Interest Group of the CLA, which leads to constant exposure to the cutting edge of tech law. Michele graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2015 with the school's intellectual property focused High Tech Law Certificate, and received the CALI Excellence For The Future Award for Appellate Advocacy.

Jonathan Lurie, Esq.

Jonathan Lurie’s career has seen him assist business and individual clients with issues ranging from intellectual property litigation and transactions to business organization to privacy compliance to employment law and more.  He has a passion for helping entrepreneurs, as well as tech and entertainment focused startups, with the many legal issues a growing business will face on the way to achieving the dreams of their founders. He is incoming Executive Committee for the California Lawyers Association Intellectual Property Section and Vice-Chair of the Entertainment and Sports Interest Group. Jonathan has written dozens published articles dealing primarily with business, intellectual property and employment law; but range from tort to constitutional law to criminal law.  He has also spoken on issues of social media legalities and ethics. Jonathan graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2015 with awards for his work in business organization, start-up legal issues, and intellectual property.  His efforts have won him the High Tech Excellence Award for 2014-15, a Witkin Award and multiple CALI awards.
